Law Connect allows our clients to access real time updates for every file at our office.

Email: Collections@orlando-law.com with the Full Name of your Association requesting Status Report Access.


You will receive an email asking you to create an account with LawConnect. In that email click view, this should bring you to a new screen. Click create an account, you email address should generate at your username, create a password of your choosing, we do not give you one. Once you complete these few simple steps you will receive one final email asking you to confirm that you create an account. You will need to go into the email and click confirm before attempting to log into your account.


*Status Reports will appear in the Documents/Collaboration folder as shared documents*

New File Requests go to newmatters@orlando-law.com, please include the following:

  1. Property address, any active mailing address, homeowners’ names, homeowners’ email and phone number.
  2.  Prior statutory letter/liens that were sent to the homeowner from the HOA, if applicable. (Letters sent to the homeowner show documentation of HOA's attempts to give the homeowner notice and their failure to make payments.)
  3. Zero balance ledger / backdated ledger to current ledger. (Shows documentation of when delinquency began to status.)

3. Time stamped photos of violations. (Time stamped photos provide us with documentation of the homeowner’s violations.)

4. List of the violations noted on the property.

Collections

Q: Where can I submit an online payment?

A: We updated our online payments system. Click

Q: Why we need to start with a zero-balance ledger?

A: All of the amounts due and owing have to be itemized to proceed with collections.

We have to have proof of all payments that were made and how they were directed.


Q: Should we (HOA) still take payments from owners if account is in collections?

A: If the account is in our office, please turn off online payment access (if possible)

and forward any payments to our office so we can apply them to the full amount due and owing.


Q: Can your office release a lien placed by a previous attorney?

A: Yes, email collections@orlando-law.com a copy of the lien that you need to be released.


Q: Where is the status of a file?

A: Contact us directly to receive access to our Status Reports for updates in real time.


Covenant Enforcement

Q: If a file is at your office for Collections / CE, can we still send notices and speak with the owner?

A: If a property is in our office for collections or CE, do not discuss that matter with the owner, direct them to our office. You can correspond with the owner regarding anything else.


Q: If the Covenant Enforcement file has a new violation, can we add another

violation to the file or do we need to start it as a separate issue?

A: Check our office and, we will be able to advise the best plan to take.


Q: Where is the status of a file?

Q: Where do I send an update on a property’s violation?

A: Email updated time stamped photos to compliance@orlando-law.com and

confirm if there are any new violations of that property or if it is in compliance.



For efficiency Payments, Correspondence, and Liens are all requested to be sent Electronically (email).
